“Until we can go beyond just doing something, to the point where we can also name it, see ourselves doing it, understand something about where, why, and how it works, and plan to do it again, we are at the mercy of our muse…” –Shelley Reid
My name is Elisha Emerson, and I am an adjunct writing lecturer at UNE. While I have been writing for as long as I can remember, I am relatively new to UNE and most certainly new to ePortfolio. I understand this newness as an opportunity for mutual discovery.
Here, I hope to explore the possibility for fresh connections and innovative methods for making these connections.
As is true with many things, I believe the classroom is greater than the sum of its parts. The teacher plus student plus student generate something pliant, operative, and very much alive, and I look forward to integrating digital communication into this living whole.
